Damage = Lethality × Attack × Troop Power
Lethality is often 3–4× lower than Attack — boosting Lethality gives larger marginal gains. Prioritize it first.

The last rally should be called 5 minutes before the event ends to ensure all troops arrive and deal damage within the window.

Archers always dominate. Keep minimum Infantry/Cavalry only to activate multi-troop hero skills.

Fill-to-max logic: When archer count is limited and a squad falls below march cap, remaining slots are filled with cavalry. Cavalry still triggers multi-troop skills and deals damage — far better than empty march slots.

The two most important joiner rules:
1. Only your first hero's first Expedition skill contributes to rally damage. Slots 2 & 3 only add march capacity.
2. Only the top 4 DamageUp joiner skills are applied per rally. If all 4 are filled, adding another DamageUp hero does nothing.

Upgrade the Pitfall to Level 5 before every event. Total cost: 1,900 Hunting Arrows. With 40 active members doing Intel Missions (24 arrows/day each), the alliance generates ~1,920 arrows in 2 days — exactly enough to max it every cycle.

Strongest Players Lead
Only top-power members should start rallies. Their gear and stats set the base damage for everyone in that rally.

Leapfrog Rallies
As soon as your march returns, immediately join the next rally. Keep all your marches rotating all 30 minutes.

Move Castles Close
Rally leaders should teleport their castle as close to the Bear Trap as possible before the event. Shorter march = more rallies.

Save Troop Presets
Save your optimal ratio (e.g. 1/10/89) as a preset before the event. Reloading it manually each rally wastes precious time.

Kick Poor Joiners
Rally leaders should remove members using defensive or gathering heroes (Quinn, Diana) as slot 1 — they lower overall damage.
Last Rally Timing
Call the last rally at least 5 minutes before the event ends to ensure all marches arrive within the window.

Since April 2025, alliances have two Bear Traps — coordinate two simultaneous rally groups for maximum alliance damage.

The maximum reward threshold is 1.2 billion damage. Track progress in the event screen and push harder in the final minutes.
❌ Using Rosa as a joiner — Her skill is chance-based and does not reliably stack. Replace with Chenko, Yeonwoo or Amane.
❌ Stacking 4× Chenko — Suboptimal. 2 Chenko + 2 Amane gives ~12.5% more damage due to multiplicative stacking.
❌ Sending Quinn or Diana as joiner — Gathering/defensive heroes in slot 1 actively lower overall rally damage.
❌ Focusing on Attack and ignoring Lethality — Lethality is typically 3–4× lower than Attack, so each point of Lethality gives much bigger gains.
❌ Joining with farming gear on — Always switch to offensive combat gear before the event.
❌ Not activating buffs before departure — Buffs must be active before troops march. Activating after they've left does nothing.
❌ Sending last rally too late — Troops still marching when the event timer hits 0 deal zero damage.
❌ Ignoring the Pitfall upgrade — Level 0 vs Level 5 Pitfall is a 25% alliance-wide damage difference — the easiest win in the whole event.
❌ Marching with empty slots — If your archer count doesn't fill the march, use the auto-fill toggle to pad with cavalry.
